Devin's NYC Honors: A Chance of a Lifetime

Hi, my name is Devin, and I’m a student at Natchez Early College in Natchez, MS. I play the violin for my school district, and I’m honored to share that my teacher nominated me for the Honors Performance Series in New York City. After a competitive selection process, I was accepted to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

I understand that there’s been a lot of difficult news in my hometown of Natchez, MS, and I want to bring hope and positivity back to my community. This opportunity means so much to me, but I can’t do it alone.

I come from a single-parent home where my mom works hard to support me and my little sister, making sure we have everything we need. With your help, I can cover the costs for this incredible trip and represent our city with pride.
