Devion Johnson was killed in a hit and run

 

 

Our son Devion Johnson was delivering Uber Eats on his scooter Friday at 2:59pm when a hit-and-run driver killed him.

 

Witness and Police stated that my son have the right away and was crossing the intersection when Toyota RAV-4 west on 95th Avenue headed northeast to Woodlawn Avenue. Our son was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he died.

 

The driver left the crash site, but later returned to reveal his identity, police said. Javier Ocampo, 23, was detained and charged with leaving the scene of the accident, which was injured or killed in a felony.

 

As we continue through this difficult time we are looking to raise funds for our family to assist in funeral cost and to obtain a lawyer to seek "Wrongful Death" law suit against our son's kill. Any mount is appreciated.
