Devlin O'Connor Memorial Fund

Devlin O'Connor tragically passed away following a collision during a morning bike ride on May 29th. Though we only knew each other through work over the past 6 months, he was an avid and devoted cyclist. He was just telling us how much he's been taking advantage of these uncertain times by getting out on long rides. We were all looking forward to tackling the Bay Area's notorious hills with him as soon as we were back to riding together. There is the smallest solace in knowing he was out doing what he loved.
We are completely devastated, stunned, and in disbelief that such a genuinely good person is gone. He was the kind of guy you were happy to know still existed in SF. Could talk to you about any and every eccentricity with ease and sincerity. The short 6 months we knew him were full of difficult experiences for us all. His bright spirit shined through in spite of those challenges. He will be sorely missed. The grief his family and close friends are experiencing is surely insurmountable.
To clarify, this fund was set up by (me) one of Devlin's coworkers at the time of his passing. I've since been in frequent communication with his wife and family by way of one of his closest friends. All funds will be given to his wife, Kelly, to assist with planning a celebration of life in honor of Devlin as soon as gatherings can be held safely in the future.
And to Devlin - next ride's for you buddy.
