Devon Buchanon's Cancer Treatment
Donation protected
Dear Friends
Thank you for taking a few moments of your time to visit the donation page for our friend Devon Buchanon and his urgent need for immunotherapy cancer treatment -- a pioneering therapy not currently available through the NHS in the UK but which is achieving hugely encouraging results in clinics in Germany.
In September 2015 Devon was diagnosed with stage 3 bladder cancer and underwent 9 hours of life-changing surgery from the NHS. Since then he has continued to focus not only on his own recovery but has also become a mentor and role model for others living with the same condition.
Having apparently returned to robust health, Devon was recently confronted with test results which revealed an early cancer forming in his left lung -- a secondary appearance of his original primary bladder cancer.
Since then, and acting on the advice of various well-informed friends, Devon has been exploring complimentary alternatives to the potentially seriously damaging effects of further surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
As a result of his own researches and the second opinions of highly respected independent oncologists into non-conventional treatments, he has encountered the ground-breaking work in Germany of Dr Milz-Bieber and Dr M. Kalden, who seek to treat the underlying causes of cancer alongside conventional treatments
Their comprehensive therapies cleanse the body, nourishing the immune system and the liver so that they operate at optimal levels and helping the patient to heal naturally without the use of debilitating toxic drugs. Their practice is also founded on the belief in the healing power of body and mind, assisting clients to open up to positivity and vitality.
In many instances their treatment has resulted in tumours either shrinking or even disappearing as the body begins to heal itself through its own defence mechanisms. In other cases, significantly longer remission periods have been obtained. The benefits to patients are both genuine and lasting.
We are aiming collectively to come to the assistance of our treasured friend Devon Buchanon at this time of his great need.
All those who know Devon will confirm that throughout his life he has helped and inspired innumerable other individuals through his unstinting generosity and kindness. Many of you will already be aware of his long-term charitable works with both Children-in-need ( often orphans or disabled children, or else victims of poverty and a lack of education) and also Wildlife Conservation . Through his compassion and concern, Devon has been able to transform the lives of people from all walks of life, and he has every intention of continuing to do so.
Devon himself is not given to asking for help for himself; but for the time being it is essential that he focus primarily on his recovery. The private, potentially life-saving treatments he has been advised to undergo are beyond his limited financial resources, and this is why we are fundraising on his behalf.
In order to achieve our goal we are looking to raise the sum of £100,000
We are delighted to tell you we have already received pledges of approximately £31,000
Any donation, large or small, will be received with immense gratitude and individually acknowledged. Alternatively, if you feel unable to assist financially, perhaps you might be able to offer accommodation; or maybe you work in travel and can help in some other way. Whatever your contribution, any assistance you may feel able to offer at this time will be invaluable.
Devon’s doctors are extremely optimistic that he has an excellent chance of receiving the full benefits of this treatment, due to his early diagnosis, the single location of the tumour and his general fitness and unshakable positivity.
In order to receive these supplementary treatments, Devon will need to spend crucial periods of time in Germany and to do so as a matter of great urgency. Travel, accommodation and treatments will all prove costly.
And so we ask you -- particularly if you believe in supporting more human and holistic approaches to the treatment of cancer -- will you please be so kind as to help us by donating generously to Devon’s cause?
Your donation could literally be lifesaving.
Thank you for helping us.
Progress reports will be given on this site. For further information on the treatments Devon needs, see this websites:
