Devon Kelley's Recovery

Was there ever a time in your life where it felt like you were hit by a truck? What about literally? About a month ago, Devon was driving his motorcycle down the street in Snohomish, WA to grab some creamer for his coffee (about a 5 minute trip). He was at a stop light when the light turned green to go, and that is when a drunk driver with a pick up truck ran a red light and slammed into Devon. Not only did he get hit by a truck, but the drunk driver didn't notice he hit a man at first. He kept driving into the intersection, dragging Devon and his motorcycle with him. Eventually he did stop, realizing he was dragging someone underneath his truck. Thankfully, there were a lot of witnesses at the scene and the police were called. Unfortunately, however, not only was this man drunk, but his driver's license was suspended on top of not having car insurance for his vehicle. With all of these things put together, Devon was told by police that he had little to no chance of getting a dime from this man. Now, with a totaled motorcycle and a bruised body with some broken ribs, Devon is left without transportation and without the ability to perform his job at the pace he needs to have (he is a contractor). Even with time passing, Devon is not feeling any better, if not worse, since the accident. He decided to go see some specialists this week to find some solutions for his hurt body. Today, on November 1, 2019, Devon was told that a lot of his issues are due to his heart. This hit us all like a ton of bricks. At this point, Devon is exhausted from waking up constantly throughout the night in raging pain radiating through his body. Now that we know that his heart is a large component. we are worried for what the future will hold. 

Devon Kelley is almost 57 years old and loved by many. He has 2 children as well as 3 grandchildren. He is one of the most hard-working and caring individuals someone could know. He will take you under your wing and teach you everything he knows. I am the newest member to this family and even though he is my father-in-law, I have referred to him as my father for quite some time now. His children have been pitching in to help support Devon during these times, but the doctor visits are starting to add up and we could use your help.
