Devon & Teresa Smith and Family

As many of you know, my home had a recent significant change. My husband had a stroke and it caused for us to take a big pause in our home life. I’m very gracious that he’s here with us. His blood clot has now dissolved and was discharged from ICU. That was the great news for me, his family and mainly our 3 kids. Many have asked, you need to consider starting a godfundme account, with much hesitation I went back and forth, as I am so shy and like to keep everything to myself.

when I found out he could come home, I was the happiest person ever, even though in the back of my head I kept saying know what?! We’ll the now what is here…means healing for months, meds, doctor visits, no driving, PT and many more things. As many of you know life itself is hard, his stroke has made it a bit harder. He will be out of work for months.

Please know this was hard for me to even consider, for those who continue to reach out and offer help THANK YOU! I truly need it and I appreciate you. ❤️

Here is to the beginning of many more weeks to come for Devon to heal.
