Devon Willis Memorial

Devon Willis came to Discovery Bay from Texas when he was 17-years old.  He attended Liberty High School (LHS) in Brentwood, CA. Devon, during his senior year, played on the LHS Varsity Football team and gained the nickname “Texas”.  That year they were champions and won the NCS title.  Devon planned to continue to play football this fall at DVC college - joining some of his old teammates.  The plan came to a complete halt on Sunday, June 21,2020 when Devon was driving home and a drunk driver hit his car and killed him.  Devon’s family will take him home to Texas for a proper burial.  Please help fly Devon and his family to Texas by donating money to his GoFundMe. All donations will go to Devon’s family in care of his mother, Brandie Coleman. Donations will be used for funeral services, vigils, and travel for Devon and his family to get to Texas - Devon’s final resting place.
