Dex Needs An Electric Wheelchair

Dexter was born with a genetic disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which causes his muscles to weaken.

Over the last year his mobility has decreased a lot, he stopped walking independently and now uses a wheelchair. We recently managed to fundraise enough for an amazing electric wheelchair thanks to our incredible supporters and now the next goal is to get Dexter an electric bed.

Dexter doesn't have the strength to turn himself in bed anymore, and relies on us to help him get comfortable for sleeping. There is an impressive electric bed that is able to assist people onto their side and we would love Dexter to be able to get himself comfortable independently.

Mobility equipment is usually custom made and therefore extremely expensive so we can't afford to give Dexter the equipment he needs and deserves on our own. That's why we are asking for help to get Dexter this amazing bed and any other equipment he needs going forward.
