Help Kim Mattila and show love and support

We are swim parents who have just barely begun to get to know Kim Mattila and her sweet (store dog) Mutt. You may know her from her friendly smile and helpful attitude at Blue Water Swim. She has helped many of our swimmers. Kim was just diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer and given just 3-6 months life expectancy.

Kim moved to the Portland metro area to help a family member through a medical issue and decided to stay because she loved working with the swim team families at Blue Water and fell in love with our beautiful NW. Kim has a very humble lifestyle and we are raising money to help her with her rent, utilities, groceries, and Uber Eats. There is a swim family who is partnering with Kim to care for her dog Mutt.

We would like to surround her with the loving, supportive community that Club Swimming is. I am a parent of MAC swimmers but I know many of you feel the same way as I do -- we are all one big community of Oregon Swimming. Please give what you can so that we can all give her dignity and love and support as she goes through this very difficult time.
