Sean Blaney Eagle Scout Project - Helping Pets

Help me keep pets of struggling families at home and out of shelters.  My name is Sean Blaney with Troop 26 in Englewood, Florida and I am working on my Eagle Scout project to help struggling families so they can keep their beloved pets at home and out of the shelter. At a time when many families are having difficulty keeping food on the tables often their pets go hungry. So often families have no choice but to give their cats to the Humane Society which is stressful to the pet and family. The best option is keeping pets fed and, in their home and not in a cage at a shelter while their family gets back on their feet The Suncoast Humane Society donates food to families to make this possible. The Suncoast Humane Society receives generous dog food donations regularly, but cats are often forgotten. I ask for your help as I work to raise money to purchase dry cat food for the Suncoast Humane Society. This will provide food for cats of families in need. So please help me raise money to help families keep their pets at home and out of the shelters. Every donation helps no matter what the size. Thank you, Sean

Update on Eagle Scout Project (November 26, 2020):

Special thanks to everyone who donated to and shared my Eagle Scout project fundraiser. I presented donations and cat food collected to the Suncoast Humane Society on November 24. The monies collected will purchase over 7,000 pounds of cat food for the SHS Community Pet Food Bank.
