Help Emma beat Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia!
Donation protected
On January 7th we received the heartbreaking news that our sweet 3 year old Emma was diagnosed with B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL) and was also in acute kidney failure. With the guidance of all the doctors and team at CHLA she was immediately placed on dialysis and had her first round of chemotherapy within 24 hours of diagnosis. After a week in the hospital Emma was released to only suffer a seizure 8 hours after being home. She was rushed back to the hospital and was diagnosed with PRES syndrome which is caused by a combo of affects of chemotherapy and medication she has to take.
As many of you know Emma is a sweet, loving, feisty, creative and fun little girl. We are so lucky that she is loved by so many and pray that this diagnosis does not change her long term.
The treatment process will be an extensive two year process. I just started a new position and will not be able to take full time off, but Ralph has decided to step away from his job to take care of her full time.
In this time we are asking for any amount of donation that your heart is willing to give to help our family as we go through this extremely difficult time. Your donations will be put towards helping with: medical expenses, housing, basic daily needs, transportation, etc. during the duration of supporting Emma’s battle with Leukemia.
All prayers and monetary support are always appreciated. Other methods of contributions can be sent through Zelle to Jackie Herrera. Please directly to her cell phone number.
Thank you all and may God bless each one of you for all the love and support.
Love Always,
Ralph, Jackie, Renee and Emma
