Meet Christine Le Quere, a resilient woman facing an unimaginable battle. At the age of 45, Christine was unexpectedly thrust into a harrowing health crisis, landing her in Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary since August 19th. Her adversary? Contracting the flesh-eating bacteria known as ESBL Klebsiella pneumonia and sepsis. Christine's journey has been nothing short of a miracle, as she fought valiantly, defying death not once but twice.

 

In this challenging time, Christine's parents have travelled from Winnipeg, Manitoba, remaining by her side to provide unwavering support. The Le Quere family is facing an uphill battle, compounded by the fact that Christine doesn't have disability insurance to alleviate the financial strain caused by her prolonged hospitalization.
