Help Andrea Beat Cancer

For those of you who know Andrea Oceguera, she is one of a kind. She has a heart of gold, is a dedicated mother, wife and daughter, and an incredible friend to many. She is always willing to help out friends and family without hesitation. Unfortunately, Andrea received the devastating news that no one was prepared to hear at age 37.

On December 3rd 2021, Andrea was diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer. This diagnosis came after weeks of discomfort, testing, and uncertainty, all while Andrea continued to work as a full-time social service worker and be a mother to her three young daughters.

Unfortunately, chemo and immunotherapy have taken their toll and weakened her to the point of resigning her job and focusing on fighting this.

Our dear brother in Law and amazing husband to Andrea is the only source of income for the family. He works all day on a 9-5 job and comes home to continue working on his side projects. With the loss of Andrea’s income, they manage to make ends meet to cover main living expenses.

Andrea’s body is responding well to the chemotherapy, but she still has a long fight ahead of her. With the help of Kaiser, Andrea was given temporary private health care which has helped cover a lot of medical costs and made some drugs available that otherwise they would not be able to afford. This support is set to expire in mid-August, and they are now in the process of finding new private coverage to continue her treatment.

We are reaching out for help on Andrea and her family's behalf. Andrea will continue to require chemotherapy treatments. Andrea has a long road ahead of her. She needs the love and support of friends and family. So at this time, we are asking for your help as she battles cancer.

We ask that if you find it in your heart to donate whatever you can for her cause to help Andrea with the financial burden that her family has to face to manage expenses, primarily for Paying the bills and covering her loss of income. We want to raise enough funds to take the pressure to earn money off their shoulders so she can focus on her treatments and fighting this disease.
