Jordan Prince is no stranger to injuries, but his latest injury and the aftermath may leave him unable to drive or work for an unknown period of time. On Monday December 3rd, Jordan suffered a head injury after a fall from his bike. Since then he has had alarming physical and emotional symptoms. On Sunday December 9th Jordan was driving home alone from BMX shows in Texas, and found himself on a highway in South Carolina suffering from blinding pain, cold, and intermittent loss of consciousness. I was able to keep him on the phone while he pulled into a parking lot, desperately yelled for help, and fell out of his car. He was shaking, crying, screaming out, cold, and could not see or hear. A couple of good samaritans came over and stayed with him until an ambulance arrived, and he was taken to a local hospital. While details of the hospital stay remain somewhat unclear, I do know that Jordan was released without any pain relief and was told to see a neurologist and not drive. He is still in significant pain, alone in a strange town, and waiting for help to come. My family is on the way to him and we will ensure that he receives the medical care he needs, but we fear this latest head injury will significantly impact his ability to work or care for Nika while Heather works. I wish I had more concrete facts and timelines, but I know that in the short term his little family will need financial help to weather this storm. If you know Jordan, you know he has a heart of gold and loves his family dearly. Heather is an amazing wife and mother, and Nika was a micropreemie who is thriving after her life began with a five month stay in the NICU. I am grateful for any financial support you can offer this sweet family during this difficult time, and prayers are desperately needed.
