Kentucky tornado relief for the Trulock Family
Donation protected
Yesterday in Cave City the tornado came through at about 1am, my husband woke us up just in time to get us to the basement. So there we are huddled up, he looks out the door and sees metal flying. Him and i and our three kids, livvy, dixie, and emma held on as we heard the rips and cracks around us. The home lifted off of the foundation, water started pouring in. Livvy was crying, but i told her its not our time. And by god it wasnt, the destruction around us was unbelievable to see at daylight. We have our roof torn off, the power lines were ripped out and cannot be fixed for a month. We lost our home. Its standing, but unlivable. I cant find my pet pigs. I dont know if they are dead or alive.
Its so hard losing our home, but at least we walked away alive, many in kentucky werent so lucky. We had an AC unit in the livingroom that got thrown into the kitchen our back window is broken. Our boat is in shreds, our chicken coop and pig pen are destroyed. The tornado threw a truck bed into the cow field. We still dont know how many cows are missing. We could really use some financial help at this time to find new housing and rebuild what we have lost. Thank you so much. Chris and Olivia Trulock

Here is a family photo of us on the fence that is now destroyed by the storm.
