Heather Phillips

Upper Level Fitness is rallying for Heather Phillips, the beloved daughter of our massage therapist, Cindy. Cindy's warmhearted presence and infectious smile have touched everyone who's encountered her at our gym. This month has brought an unimaginable challenge as Heather received a stage #4 diagnosis of aggressive squamous bladder cancer with potential lymph node involvement and is currently battling renal (kidney) failure.

Heather's journey is still unfolding, as she awaits further outpatient testing to determine the extent of the cancer's reach and awaiting to hear about plans for chemotherapy and surgery from MD Anderson and Penn Cancer Center. Additionally, a crucial dialysis decision from a nephrologist lies ahead.
