Appointment & Transplant Vehicle

First off I want to tell you that this fundraising evenut is to be used for the purchase of a Reliable Vehicle to travel the 10 Plus hours to Vanderbilt in Nashville from Kingsport Tennessee. My mission: I have a Experimental Gastric Pacemaker placed in my stomach and its to help slow the nausea and vomiting down-to 80% if I can keep the appointments(most of my problem transportation, 5hr. down for 45-1hr Dr. visit and 5hr back home) so needless to say I think its a idea to ask for help *I know a grown man asking for help..butil it also takes a real authentic man to humble his self in asking*.                   ~MY STORY~
Dear A-B Positive,  

The Date was January 7th 1983. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes (TYPE 1). The way it was explained to me was harsh to hear at age 8, the doctor told me I was not going to see my 21st birthday. "GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, AND ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD". I have been living with Diabetes for 32 years. I proved the doctors to be wrong. I am 39 years old now and Blessed to be alive and well enough to tell my story. I've been fighting the good fight for 32 years and I am sure I have another 32 to go easy. Things are just now starting to happen to me medically. I went blind and the Eye Doctor sat me down and I told him my story. I believe it touched some part of his being. He practically chased me down to tell me he would do my surgery and restore my vision for Pro-Bono (FREE). "GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD". For the past 6 years I've been suffering with Gastroparesis it is a condition that affects the stomach muscles and prevents proper stomach emptying. This condition makes me vomit everyday sometimes all day long. The food that sits on my stomach spoils and I have no other way to get it out of my stomach, but to vomit. So needless to say, It is like being pregnant with morning sickness for 6 years. Also I am dealing with some Renal Failure (Kidney Failure). I am on dialysis 3 days a week. So I am waiting patiently on a Kidney and to top it off a Pancreas also. These two organs will bring me back to Good Health. "I got a lot of living to do before I die, and I don't have time to waste". I have to tell you, I'm a Warrior and I'm Battle Ready and Tested. I thank God every morning He awakens me to a brand new day,a fresh start, and at night to allow me to slumber peacefully. For that I will remain HIS Humbled Servant because I know HE Loves Me Unconditionally. August 19th 2002, I had my first child,after I was told I would never Father children by my Doctor.Yet again I proved the Doctors wrong. September 11th 2003,I had my 2nd child ( see what I mean when I say) " GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, AND ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD"!!! For the last 7 years I have been trapped in a recliner day in and day out, with no quality of life. My two children need their Daddy, and my Wife needs her King that is one of the prime reasons I fight everyday to stay alive. Looking at it, basically I am starving to death with no fault of my own. I am not looking for a PITY PARTY, but what I am asking for is help and if you can't help put my name Corey DeShawn Robinson in you Home Church Prayer Box and let God finish dealing with me. I'm NO QUITTER, It is not written in my DNA!!! My mother did not give birth to a Quitter. I'm a Soldier of GODS and HE gives his BEST WARRIORS THE HARDEST BATTLES of their lifetime and to face Fear head on with No worries, and to Glorify HIS NAME...I am very lucky to have such a Great Support Team!
