Hello everyone and thank you for visiting my go fund me account. I hope your heart is happy, your health is in great shape, and your family is well taken care of.
I want to thank you for visiting my go fund me page and getting to know me further. I will be competing in the Miss New York USA pageant August 18th-20th.
Apart of my process has been discussing my accomplishments thus far since high school. So let me start by introducing myself. My name is Diamond Hamilton.

Apart of my process has been discussing my accomplishments thus far since high school. So let me start by introducing myself. My name is Diamond Hamilton.
In high school, I was class president, as well as the captain of both the cheerleading team and the track team. I began my college studies at Onondaga Community College where I was the Vice President of a political club, leader of the Black Lives Matter meetings, an environmental sustainability leader and more. I later transferred to SUNY Buffalo State where I obtained an undergraduate degree within the top 15% of my major. During my time at Buffalo State I was the production manager of our student college TV station. I was also the producer and host my own talk show. I held multiple internships including a reporter’s assistant at WIVB-News 4 and an internship in the casting department on a Japanese horror film titled “Bashira.” During my second year at Buffalo State I studied abroad in the United Kingdom at Manchester Metropolitan University. This was a life changing decision, I believe travel should be seen an educational experience not a luxury because It builds character, and helps people understand different cultures. It pushed me to a deeper level of self-discovery and I feel that everyone should have the chance to travel this beautiful world we live in.
After graduation I interned at Walt Disney World and then took a job in the accounting department on ‘A Quiet Place Part ll’, which led me to fulfilling my dream of moving to New York City and working in television and film production. In September of 2020 I was featured in the New York Times with music artist Megan Thee Stallion in an op-ed piece entitled “Why I Speak Up for Black Women.” This meant so much to me as it is topic that will continue to advocate for because it affects me personally.
I am proud to now be a crew member of the multi-Emmy winning TV show “Succession,” I view this as one of my greatest accomplishments so far.
This pageant is another one of my dreams and the chance of a lifetime. I am asking for your support in this unique opportunity. If I am crowned MISS NEW YORK USA, I will represent New York in the MISS USA pageant. I will also represent New York during my reign by making numerous appearances throughout our state, by helping community, local businesses, and charitable organizations as well as appearing to special events, grand openings and parades. I am confident that I will do well, and that it will lead to many opportunities for my future.
My goals are bold and big, as I do not believe we were put here for one purpose or to stay the same person. I am a living testament that the saying “Anything is possible” is not just some cliché colloquialism. It is the result of hard work, dedication, and believing in the power of your soul before the rest of the world catches on.
