Diana Dreifurst

Hi, my name is Heather and these are my parents, Steve and Diana. My dad recently lost the love of his life. My stepmom Diana passed away early Monday from complications from Covid. Diana was the perfect mom, stepmom, wife and grandmother. She was funny, strong and very loving and passionate about her family. My dad and Diana were definitely soulmates.

A month ago she caught covid. She was transferred to the ICU in Iowa City after they found blood clots in her stomach. The clots ended up breaking loose and traveled to her brain and spleen. We lost her during surgery. They were able to bring her back but not without many complications, including a stroke, ruptured spleen and issues with multiple organs. Eventually the complications were too much for her and she lost her fight.

Diana didn't have life insurance and my dad is dealing with his own medical crisis as he has Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, so any donations will help with Diana's hospital bill's and funeral arrangements.
