Help Us Help Her: Diana Hamm's Story
My Aunt Diana has been battling stage four, terminal, breast cancer that metastasized into her bones for six long years. However, treatments and various other ailments have made her very weak and things weren’t/aren’t looking the best. She spent two weeks in Forsyth Medical Center to have surgery to place pins and rods in both of her femurs/pelvis as well as her left humerus (shoulder). These surgeries, of course, have left her even weaker than she was. Due to this she was placed on hospice and was allowed to return home where my mother, her son(s), various family members and myself have all pitched in to take care of her and make her comfortable. However, my aunt hasn’t been working since the progression of her cancer and while she draws disability her youngest son has to pay a good portion of the bills. Because of my Aunt's condition my cousin took off work to be with his mom so we are making this go fund me to ensure their bills are paid and give my Aunt Diana peace of mind.
