Diana Zadrozny Liver Transplant

Donation protected
My name is Elizabeth and this fundraiser is for my daughter, Diana. Diana has end stage non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis; complicated by heart condition. Diana is waiting for a liver transplant. She has been hospitalized for the last 2 months as her condition cannot be managed at home.

Once discharged from hospital, what is raised will be used to pay for everything. Her husband Ron is the sole provider for the family. Mortgage, taxes, car payments, insurance, food, etc. all must be paid for by his salary alone. We now have to add medical and care provider expenses. Ron has to take time off from work and be full time care giver until Diana is better. This means there will be no income coming in at all. This is why Diana needs your help. Urgently.

I'd like to tell you a little bit about my daughter. Diana is 42 years old. She is beautiful, vibrant, very sweet, honest, eternally optimistic, hard working with a sense of style. She also loves the outdoors. Diana and Ron spend many weekends hiking and exploring beautiful New England parks. She also has a 20 year old daughter; husband Ron; parents; brother and sister-in-law; niece and nephews and many cousins. She also has two dogs who are very important to her.

We don't know how Diana's illness was able to progress so far without being diagnosed. Doctors insisted that the symptoms were caused by her heart condition. She has defibulator - pacemaker in her chest to help manage her Long QT Syndrome. For several years now, she was feeling extremely weak, nauseous, swollen, light headed, unable to think clearly, unable to eat or sleep. In May, Diana went to ER and was admitted as inpatient. Doctors had to remove pounds of fluid just so they could do testing necessary to find out what was wrong. The shock was that what the doctors found was worse than we could have imagined. Her liver failed. It was in the final stages of life and causing severe complications.

This scenario keeps repeating. Admission to hospital; severe anemia; blood transfusions; receiving blood platelets; enlarged spleen; kidneys shutting dow; hair falling out; skin turning yellow. The list of goes on.

We pray the transplant will be done soon.(She was added to transplant list on November 30th.) Diana will need round the clock care after the transplant. Her husband and family will be providing most of it but that means they will need to take time off from work to do this.

With hope in our hearts, we ask for your help. Please donate. No amount is too small and everything will help.
