Diana's battling aggressive bowel cancer

Diana has been battling very aggressive bowel cancer.  It’s been an extremely tough journey for Diana as she has endured a number of operations in an attempt to remove the cancer, followed by months and months of extreme chemotherapy treatment, all while raising a young family.  Unfortunately Diana was recently informed that the cancer had spread to her liver and abdomen.  

Almost everyone knows someone that has been directly affected by cancer and for those of you familiar with this horrible disease, you’ll understand how difficult the journey has been for her.  Diana has also embarked on alternative therapies in the hope to extend her time with her family.  Under medical supervision she is on a very strict diet and has attended a number of retreats and educational programs in an effort to beat this horrific disease.  

In addition to ongoing treatment here in Brisbane, Diana is planning a trip to Germany to try a range of highly specialised treatments, many of which are showing real potential in fighting cancer.  This treatment is very expensive and the road ahead is going to be very challenging for Diana and her family, both financially and emotionally.
