Diane Altevers Memorial Donation

Diane was a loving mother, wife, and friend to all those that she met. Her signature was giving a hug no matter what the situation or how well she knew you. Kindness was her constant and knew no bounds and always put others ahead of herself. She shined light into this world of gray even in her darkest moments. We believe that she would've preferred that money spent on flowers would be better spent making others' lives easier so we set this up to hopefully do just that.

She began her fight with breast cancer in 2017, after winning that fight in stride she was then diagnosed with treatment induced leukemia in May of 2020. After multiple rounds of treatments and a final relapse of her leukemia, Diane made the decision to spend her last Christmas in the comfort of her home with those that she loved most. We are very proud of Diane and her fight and know that she gave it her all every step of the way. She went through more in the past 4 years than most have in their entire lifetime so we can have peace in knowing that she is now free of pain.

The mission of Chicks & Chucks Inc. is to be a resource for Breast Cancer patients who require products and services in their battle and have little or no financial means to acquire what they need. Cathy of Chicks & Chucks is a beacon of positivity and hope for patients that are beginning their recovery process from breast cancer and helped Diane in numerous ways after her double mastectomy.
