Diane Anderson - heart surgery

Last week our Mom (Diane Anderson) was admitted in the hospital with fluid on her lungs, and troubles breathing. She was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis.  Tuesday, January 24th she had open heart surgery to replace the  aortic valve, which requires an extensive amount of rehabilitation, and a long recovery time. Unfortunately, this means she will be unable to work for many weeks, resulting in a loss of income. She will also be left with extensive medical bills on top of her regular living expenses.   Since she has had some other complications with this surgery, and her bodies response to it, there is the potential to slow her recovery time and also require more attention.  Unfortunately, since we all live in other states, all 3 of us kids are not able to stay with her during her entire recovery, or even as long as she needs to get to a place where she can tend to her basic needs. Therefore, we will need to set her up with some in home care, or possibly a short stay in a rehab facility, which will add to these costs. 

She has great friends here in Hudson in her church family that are going to help with as much as they can, and we have been so blessed with all their love and help to all of us during this time.  They will be doing a lot of physical assisting to Mom (and us) to help her in this process, but there is still a great financial need that would reduce a lot of mom's stress and anxiety so she can focus on her health. 

We ask that you please continue to pray for Mom's healing, that she will get her strength back quickly and able to go back to the majority of her regular life, and stay healthy during this time.  We believe the power of prayer has helped Mom to overcome some very serious, and unexpected reactions she has had thus far.
