In loving memory of Diane Babbitt-Santos

My beautiful friend, Diane Babbitt-Santos, was recently diagnosed with a very rare, degenerative, neurological disease called Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, which is extremely aggressive and 100% fatal. Diane is one of the kindest, most loving and most generous people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. For the last 30+ years, she has dedicated her life to saving others as a neonatal nurse in the NICU at Women & Infants Hospital. Now it's our turn to help her and her family. Diane's two young daughters, Athena and Avalon (23 and 18), are now by their Mom's side caring for her around the clock, along with their extended family and friends. They desperately need our help as they face this unimaginable tragedy. Their expenses are endless and growing, as they must navigate medical / end-of-life care and planning for their Mom, as well as food, housing, transportation, and education for themselves.
