Diane Needs Our Support After a Cardiac Event

On Monday, February 19, our friend Diane suffered an aortic dissection. She was flown by DHART to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center where she was immediately brought into extensive life-saving surgery. Due to blood loss from the cardiac event, parts of her small intestine and colon were removed. Making things more complicated, Diane only has one kidney - and so, is on 24-Hour dialysis. As it stands today, February 24th - she remains on a ventilator and life support.

Leading up to this event, Diane was job-seeking after suddenly being laid off from her role at PAK Solutions in Lancaster. As you might imagine, this has left her in a financially catastrophic situation - not only without income, but without insurance. The timing is deeply unfortunate, as she was making great progress on the interview process for a new job this past week. Add to this that the State of NH Unemployment system, because of this serious medical emergency, has deemed her "not available to work" - meaning that her unemployment will stop.

Her family is so important to her and she loves sharing stories and photos of her nieces & nephews, who she is so proud of.
