Donate $5 to help Diane pay her rent

My name is Becky Wells Phillips and I live in Western North Carolina. My girlfriend Diane, who lives in Candler, NC (near Asheville), lost her job due to Hurricane Helene. The stories you’ve heard are true. People ARE living in tents in some areas. She’s been trying to get unemployment and/or food stamps since October and keeps jumping through hoops without any luck. ABCCM did send $300 to her landlord for one month, but her rent is $700. She also has a camper payment of $500, and her bank plans to evict her if payment isn’t received by 12/31/24. Groceries, electric, propane, and water are other essentials. Yes, she’s been trying to find another job and she continues to reach out to other charities. The money will be used for the bank’s camper payment $500, landlord’s lot rent $700, electric $70, and groceries $200.

I am just asking for a little help because I’ve been trying to keep her head above water and keep her and her two fur kids housed. Anything that you can give would be greatly appreciated.
