Hello everyone. As hard as it is to type these words, we wanted to let our friends and family know that our beloved Diane Philyaw has been placed on Hospice care.

A message to Diane from her family: Thank you for all the days you’ve made brighter just by being you. There have been more of them than we can count. You’ve been such an important part of our lives, and for that, we will always be grateful. You’ve taken such good care of all of us for so long. We’ll miss that, and we’ll miss you, but we’ll be alright. We’ll find ways to take care of each other and honor your living memory through stories and time spent with family.

We are absolutely devastated by Diane’s diagnosis and are struggling not only emotionally but financially to find the funds to cover the cost of her future funeral service. Her funeral cost will also include transporting Diane back to Texarkana from Kileen,TX to be buried alongside her family once she passes.

We have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of her funeral expenses. Our family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral, and during this difficult time, we are reaching out to our community, family and friends for help.
