Diane Pranske's Survival Fund
Donation protected
In 2015, my mother, Diane Pranske, survived a brutal kidnapping, rape and strangling. She was then set on fire and left for dead. After waking up and running to her own rescue, nine months of surgeries, a rough stay in the Burn ICU including numerous skin grafting procedures, near death experiences and grueling rehab, she returned home and is doing everything she can to live a comfortable life after having most of her physical capabilities taken from her.
From impaired vision and mobility to a severely compromised immune system, her days are not easy. Thankfully, she has her dedicated life partner, John, by her side to help her get through each and every day. While my mom is no longer able to walk and caring for her is an intense full time job, any donated funds go directly to helping her live the most comfortable life possible. Currently, she is seeing several specialists that are causing us to incur staggering expenses. There are many other things that your generous donations cover such as her necessary burn/skin care products, home modifications, and products for accessibility and adaptability. As many of you have seen, weather it be on Facebook or on Investigation Discovery's "See No Evil" episode covering her story, "Fire Angel", Diane remains extremely positive, loving and enthusiastically takes on each day of her altered life.
She commemorates the day of her attack as Survivor Day. She does not dwell on what happened, live in fear, or question why this had to happen to her. Instead, she celebrates life- Being an amazing mom, a caring pet owner and a loving life partner. As always, we love seeing your continued support and caring messages. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Love Wins!
