Diane Stephan Recovery Support

Donation protected
For those of us that work in the pharmaceutical industry, it is not difficult to find our purpose as patients are at the center of everything we do. Customer facing field people need to be resilient, educated and driven to overcome everyday obstacles. When times are tough, we stay motivated by concentrating on the benefits our products bring to patients.
Now one of our own is the patient. On Oct 24th, 2022 our friend and colleague, Diane Stephan suffered a life threating hemorrhagic stroke. Her daughter Lauren acted quickly and managed to get Diane to the hospital and her quick response gave Diane the very best chance for an optimal recovery. Although the surgeons performed a successful craniotomy, her road to recovery will be a long and arduous journey. Diane is a driven and successful pharma rep that has been in the industry for 15+ years. Over the last 8 years, she has won Presidents Club 3 years in a row. She is a kind, thoughtful and supportive teammate. It is now our turn to support Diane as the financial and emotional impact this will have on her and her family will be demonstrable.
Diane will be continuing her care at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab which is a nationally ranked rehabilitation center in Chicago, IL. Diane will be receiving the exceptional care she needs and deserves, but as a single working mom of three she needs our support. The expenses associated with this level of care are significant and as the sole financial provider in the household, there are innumerable needs for her three kids.
Diane’s family has agreed to let us share their story. Her brother, Jeff Bakaitis will be handling the proceeds as he supports Diane’s costs of recovery and family expenses. Join me in helping Diane, Andrew, Nick and Lauren during this challenging time. Any support is greatly appreciated.
