Diane Vetor Shepherd Medical Expenses

Our friend and co-worker, Diane Vetor Shepherd was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent a lumpectomy in May, 2023 and is now facing 19 radiation treatments. Unfortunately, the treatments to date have exhausted her available insurance benefits. She has no additional health insurance available to her.

Between the out-of-pocket surgery costs, diagnostic tests, doctor visits, etc- she does not have the funds available for the radiation treatments. The costs associated with the radiation are approximately $30,000. This does not include additional out-of-pocket expenses. Diane has been researching other options and has applied for assistance. Unfortunately, she has been denied at every turn.

Even though it is very difficult for Diane to ask for help, she needs this life-saving treatment. Those of you who know Diane know that she always goes out of her way to help someone. Since time is of the essence, we are asking you to consider helping her by contributing to this fund.
