Diane Watkins and Family

Hi, my name is Amanda Housel. My mom, Diane Watkins, has been in the hospital for the last two weeks. She was transferred to the ICU in Bismarck, two hours away from me and home, and four hours away from my sister over a week ago. I have had so many people reach out and ask how they can help and so many already have in one way or another. The biggest thing we need is prayers for Mom and our family at this time. I don't think any of us have really even begun to grieve for our Dad because we are so worried for Mom. I am starting this account because neither Leann nor I want Mom to feel abandoned during this time. We have been driving back and forth daily when we haven't been able to stay in Bismarck in order to sit with Mom and be her advocate when she is unable. This is beginning to take a financial toll. I am certain Mom would be willing to help us out financially but we have not yet received any money from Dad's life insurance and Mom has not been well enough to go to the bank regarding his accounts there. She is expected to be in the hospital or an extended care facility, likely 2 hours away, for at least another 2 weeks if not more. This is certainly not a demand for money. This is just an option for those who have been asking for ways to help. We are so very grateful for every form of assistance we have already received. We truly have a wonderful community of friends and family! :)
