It is with great pleasure and excitement that I am able to inform you that we, the Diaz family, have another opportunity to go out on a mission’s trip with New Beginnings Church . The Amazon jungle of Ecuador continues to call out for the gospel in its living form. It has been our passion, as a family, to not just preach to people about the bible, but to be the living example of what God does to you. Our testimony and faith is what can change lives because it is covered by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Dr. K.P. Yohannan wrote in his book “Revolution in World Missions” of a missionary named Jesu Das, and how he testified of a time during missions in a village in India. He was approached by a witchdoctor that wanted to know about Jesus Christ. His reason for doing so was because he, the witchdoctor, called upon his spirits to kill this missionary and his family, but the spirits returned stating “they could not approach you and your family because you were always surrounded by fire.” The fire that they spoke of was of the Holy Spirit and can only be possible through great faith and prayer.
So, in July of 2017, we will have the chance to be the living, breathing reflection of Jesus Christ to a people in need. Will you be a part of this journey and help us spread Gods love!? Last year we showed great faith and brought our children, Omar 7 years old and Priscilla 10, to work, serve and share God’s love alongside us to the indigenous peoples in Ecuador. Many thought we were crazy, unfit parents, and it would be impossible to raise the funds. At times we allowed ourselves to second guess this decision, but time after time God would confirm to us that He was the ultimate decision maker. We obeyed and followed His guidance and by His grace we raised enough funds. We were able to bless many and share God’s love to those in need. Our children played a role that quickly revealed itself to be greater than ours. There was nothing that they couldn’t do! Their age alone created a resounding impact on the lives we encountered. When God calls you, He will strengthen and equip you with what is needed to get the job done.
This year we have to raise $6,440 as a family. Our family goal will cover: air fare, housing, ground transportation, food, ministry expenses and supplies for VBS, these are items that will bless the children from Ecuador. Some of the money raised will also go towards the organization we are partnering up with, Inca Link , so that they can continue reaching out to the “forgotten and impoverished jungle communities of Latin America”.
To be more detailed this is how our breakdown looks like as a family: $1,880 airfare, $3,960 orginization fee, food, trasportation and $600 towards ministry expenses and supplies.
We are first asking for you to join us in prayer. Prayer is going to sustain us during this time. Pray for guidance and strength, pray for the people whom we will encounter, pray for our health and safety, and for our team. As we all know God’s word is not always welcomed and many are being persecuted, but Philippians 4:13 says “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”
God will make this possible. Join us with your faith in prayer and your financial support. He sees His good and faithful servants. He blesses those that give with cheerful hearts. Join us in making a difference in lives of others.

Contributions to short-term mission trips are tax deductible; however, in accordance with IRS regulations, these designated offerings are subject to the governing board’s control and discretion. When contributions for a particular individual exceed trip expenses, the governing board may redirect contributions to other mission team expenses or to another activity within the missions department.
