Didi & Diamond!

Hi everyone!

Since 2019, Didi has been a beloved member of the Release Recovery team (a full-service substance use disorder and mental health organization based in New York).

Over the past 4 years, Didi has given her time, energy and love to every member of our community as well as every person that comes into her life. In addition to her commitment to Release, Didi works an additioal job, acts as the sole caregiver to an ailing family member, and is the mother to a 4-month-old puppy, Diamond Gray.

Didi continues to show up with a smile on her face, and brightens Release's women's house every day.

On Saturday May 20th, while at work, Didi got news that her apartment building had caught on fire and that the building was being condemned by the city. All tenants have only 30 days to vacate.

Now, more than ever, we're rallying together to support Didi in any way we can. Over the next weeks, Didi will have expenses related to the condemnation and the move, including but not limited to: finding temporary housing, travel expenses, and basic living needs.

Any support at all would be greatly appreciated. We know she'd do the same for any of us!
