Diel family memorial costs for Hank Diel

Sadly, Henry "Hank" Diel has passed away. He was a vibrant and active 83 years old. He was a proud US Navy Veteran, loving husband, father/papa, and community member.  His loss came just 6 days after suffering an unexpected heart attack. He fought so hard but his heart, his sweet, wonderful, caring, loving heart, just wasn't strong enough to keep him with us. We were blessed to call him our father/papa, husband and grandfather. We could not have asked to have a more wonderful kind human to be our person. If anyone ever needed for anything, he would be the one to help out. He was an active community member in the Burbank area, along with his caring wife, Janet. Some of his many involvements included serving as a board member of the Burbank Coordinating Council (Holiday Baskets, Camperships, etc.) volunteering with Bike Angels, Burbank's Senior Citizen Board, Burbank Advisory Council on Disabilities and Burbank's Veterans Committee. As a Korean War veteran he was also active in the Disabled American Vets, American Legion, and Veteran's of Foreign Wars. This world is so much emptier now without him in it. Any donation, of any size, is appreciated. As are kind words and thoughts.
