In memory of Dilipkumar Ramji Sidhpura,

Dilesh and Chandni have planned to place a memorial bench facing the ocean in our hometown Vancouver as 2023 marks 20 years of our father’s passing.

We hope this memorial bench can be a place for any and all of us to visit our father and honour his memory for the years to come. As a figure who always brought people together to build community, we hope this space can allow for a similar feeling of connection and togetherness.

Whether it’s to watch the sunset or the ocean go by, sit in solitude, or have a chat on a hard day. This bench is open and welcome to everyone always.

The ocean facing bench will be in place for 10 years by the Vancouver park board before renewal.
