Recently I went to lunch with my friend, Kasey Dillard. She shared some heart breaking news with me; Her husband, Kelly, has stage 3 melanoma. Kasey didn't want to ask for help that day. They had barely told anyone of their suffering, and they were not ready to share.
If you know Kasey, she is most selfless person and doesn't ask for anything from anyone, yet she is always willing to be the first to offer to help. I respected her decision, but told her that I cannot help if she does not tell me what her needs are. A few days had gone by, and Kasey called me. I immediately knew why she was calling, as a phone call from her wasn't "normal". She needed help.
Kasey works full time, she is also in nursing school and a mom of 2 awesome kids ages 7 and 15. Kelly is the main financial provider, but due to surgeries and infections he has been unable to work for days at a time. As a factory worker, this has caused a financial burden on their family as the medical bills and household bills begin to pile up. This sweet family needs our help.
Please consider donating to help ease some of their stress. Any amount would be so greatly appreciated. Above all else, prayers for completely healing and CLEAR scans are needed.
