Help Dillion on his long journey to recovery

Hi my name is Laura Schreacke and I have set up this GoFundMe to help my dear friend Deanna Vahle and her son Dillion. Dillion is currently in the Hospital in the ICU fighting for his life.

After being separated from his 2 children for 3 months, Dillion was in a really dark place which led to this life-threatening incident on July 18. Dillion was airlifted to a hospital in St. Louis where he underwent over 12 hours of surgery and put on a ventilator. The doctors had no idea what his outcome would be, but they did say his chance of paralysis was likely. Like any mother would, Deanna rushed to his side and has not left it. It has been 2 weeks and by the grace of God, Dillion has shown signs of improvements. He still cannot breathe on his own, but he does have some feeling in his extremities. The doctors are hopeful but the process will be slow and long.

Donations will be used to supplement the loss of income for both Dillion and Deanna for the next few months so they can focus on Dillions recovery and not how they will find money to pay their bills. It will also be used for medical expenses as he will need to be moved to a rehab center to see if he can walk again.
