Honouring the man who killed apartheid, Dimitri Tsafendas

Hello, My name is Siphesihle Maphosa I'm a 32 year old Process Controller from South Africa, I am a reader of african history and a part time political analyst.
I was deeply touched by the story of a tragic hero by the name of Dimitri Tsafendas, Dimitri was born on 14 January 1918 and died in a South African prison on 7 October 1999, he was a Greek-Mozambican lifelong political militant and the assassin of Prime Minister of South Africa Hendrik Verwoerd who was regarded by many as the architect of apartheid, Dimitri had a deep love for the African people of South Africa and could not stand to see the daily crimes against humanity that the apartheid regime inflicted on the people of South Africa, on one tragic day on the 6th of September 1966 he stabbed HF Verwoed during a parliamentary seating in Cape Town, hoping to weaken the resolve of the apartheid government and to provide assitance to the ongoing struggle for freedom for the people of South Africa, he was arrested, tortured and spent the rest of his days in South African prison institutions, Dimitri however did finaly see South Africa become free before his death from behind bars in the year 1994, sadly the new government had made deals with the old regime and his freedom was not one of them, when he died in the year 1999, he was buried in an unmarked grave on the hospital premises where he died and that is where he lies to this day, I feel such a man deserves a stone on his grave to honour his great sacrifice, his family deserves something to show that some people see Dimitri as a national hero and that he will be remembered as one of the great liberators of South Africa, funds will be used for a tombstone or even the movement of the grave should his family wish it, a memorial service will be held for him as he never had one and whatever is left will be handed over to his living descendants.
I hope you find it in your heart to help us make this project a success.
Thank you.
