Dinner for our Frontline Healthcare Teams

Donation protected
As many of us are sitting at home, panic-buying a dozen packs of Costco size toilet paper, "Instacarting" everything the frozen food section has to offer and buying price gauged hand sanitizers, there are doctors, nurses and hospital workers that are tirelessly working on the front lines. Directly exposing themselves to the danger we are all locking ourselves in our homes from.

Tonight my husband and I had an idea to order pizza for the ER and PICU teams at UCLA Ronald Reagan Hospital - a place that many of you know is very dear to us. This small act of kindness allowed for over 60 hardworking medical workers to have one less thing to worry about - dinner! We thought it would be a great idea to raise enough money to not only provide dinner for the ER staff once a week, but also to help support local businesses.

Working a double or night shift can be grueling and lonely and it is small gestures like this that can lift the overall morale of our medical community. Let's gives them something to smile about during this tough time!

I will personally order the dinner every Saturday night until the money runs out! Thank you for your generosity and kindness! The world needs it right now more than ever! Given the national attention we have received we intend to expand the program to include random acts of kindness for ER’s all across the country. Rebecca and Bobby Khorshidi
