"Dinner" Dachshund NEEDS 2 come home from hospital

Hi everyone!

My name is Dinner. I am an 8-year-old dachshund pure bred. My hooman mommy found and saved me 8 years ago, the hoomans that I was with before my hooman mommy found me, threw me out in a trash bag on the side of the road. When my hooman mommy found me, I was very sick with pneumonia at 11 weeks old and I could have died but she nursed me back to health. I am with my hooman mommy, grandma & grandpaw now. My grandpaw and I have a special bond since I am like his emotional support dog after his cancer treatment. Yup, me and my grandpaw are inseparable. We go everywhere together. My grandpawrents watch me while my hooman mommy works.

I am very smart, lovable, and friendly and “special” in many ways. I wear my lil security shirt and patrol my neighborhood every night. Everywhere I go, hoomans stop and come up to me and must pet me and tell me how adorable I am.

I am writing to everyone to let you know I am very sick. Nurses told my family I need a “Colpopexy, Neuter, and Bilateral Perineal Hernia Repair” surgery. The estimated cost just for this operation is approximately $12,000.

UPDATE:

I got the surgery, but an organization paid for it and now my family must pay the organization back. Any money raised is going directly to the organization.. I just want to go home and recuperate.

I am asking for your help if you can donate anything, so I be back with my family and continue to live a long, happy, and healthy life doing what I love ..chasing bees and burying bones around the house.
