Diondra’s Transition & Survival Fund

Hi, my name is Diondra. I am a 27 year old black trans woman who currently lives in Dallas. My journey has been a lonely road filled with stress and emotional downs. I had to give up my family, friends, and everything I had ever known in order to find some peace and become the woman I am today. As I get farther in my journey, things keep getting harder and harder. I’ve always taken pride in the fact that I could at least work and take care of myself but as the world continues to reveal more and more each day how truly hateful it is, just being able to support myself and have a somewhat stable life now seems nearly impossible because of who I am. I want to get the gender affirming procedures that will help complete my journey and also help with my survival. There’s nothing else in the world I want more than to feel complete and assisting me with completing my journey will make the struggle it took to simply get here today worth it.
