Dipsea Trail Bridge in Muir Wood
Tax deductible
The proposed Dipsea Trail Bridge in Muir Woods, which is part of the National of the Park Service’s Redwood Renewal Sustainable Access Project, is getting closer to reality, and you can help! The estimated total cost of building the 120-foot suspension foot bridge over Redwood Creek bridge is $1,900,000. This bridge will connect the famed Dipsea Trail and will help protect the habitat of endangered Coho and Steelhead Salmon that return to Muir Creek every year.
The bridge is now in the next phase, see the images of the design on this page. Most of the funds for building the bridge will come from grants, but to get this project started the Dipsea Foundation needs to raise $100,000 to show the agencies and organizations that will provide these grants that we are sincere in leading this effort.
