Dirty Precious Staff Support fund

Bar and Restaurant folks are social creatures. The Dirty Precious team is no exception. We’re good at our jobs and create amazing spaces because we know how to be there for people. We’ve been here for your celebrations, your commiserations, your leaps and crashes. We’ve raised glasses to your success, and poured stronger drinks (and extra water) for when things are hard. We’ve watched you fall in love, make tough choices, make dumb choices, come out the other side and cheered (and cheersed) you on the whole time. We’ve helped you raise awareness for your causes, donated to your schools, and opened up our space for your meet ups and fundraisers. There are many definitions of, and adages about, hospitality - but my personal drive comes from who we get to be for people. We get to have an impact on someone's day just by being there. And that’s pretty special. Not to mention all the delicious food and drink!!
In times of crisis all we want to do is show up and help, with doors and arms wide open. But this is not the time for that. This is the time to stay home, and keep ourselves and others safe … and we are willingly adhering to these new rules. However when the doors are closed, when no glasses can be clinked together, when no stories can be told, it also means that no money is coming in.
We don't know how long it will be until we're able to open our doors again, but we do know that we'd like all our staff to be there with us when we do. Any contributions you can make to help ensure their financial well being during these times are greatly appreciated.
May you and yours stay safe until our glasses clink again.
