Thank you all for all of the support! We've raised enough to buy a new scooter!!! Any additional money raised will go straight to my uncle for food, medications, and other cost of living expenses! Not only have yall helped him regain mobile independence, but will be helping him with financial independence as well. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you for what you've given my uncle.
Hi, my name is Jimmy Omar, and I, along with my twin Sister, want to buy my 59 year old uncle, Glenn Scott, living with cerebral palsy, a new, and extra safe mobility scooter after his mobility scooter was just stolen. Link to the news article below.
On November 4th, Glenn had his mobility scooter stolen out of the parkade of his low income living complex.
The police are currently investigating the incident, but now Glenn has no mode of transportation to get his own groceries, go out, or visit family and friends.
That is why we are fundraising for a new scooter. One that is as functional, and safer than the one stolen. Let's show Glenn that not everyone in the world is evil, that there are those with kindness in their heart, willing to help a complete stranger get on his feet (so to speak) again!
