Disabled Mom Needs Support After Husband's Exit
Donation protected
On the 3rd of December, 2024, our world came crashing down around us. Out of respect for the privacy of my kids, details will not be included.
My husband of thirteen years was kicked out of my home after some disturbing truths were brought to light. He told me he was going to take his own life and grabbed his 9mm before walking out. Shortly after he left, I called the police and filed a report. Police officers arrived and took my statement. A detective came a few hours later and talked to my kids, after which, she escorted us to a Children's Hospital. We were there for approximately seven hours.
Once home, Children and Family Services came to talk to me and look around the house. My kids were exhausted, so an interview with them was scheduled for later.
My daughter's phone was taken for evidence, and a warrant was issued for my husband's computer and my daughter's computer.
My husband had also just gotten paid, and I was planning on paying the immediate bills with that money. However, when I checked the account today, the account was over $400 in the negative.
So, now, I have no money for bills, no money for food, no money for Christmas presents, no transportation, nothing.
I am unable to work because I am disabled. I also homeschool as two of my children are special needs. My husband's income disqualified me from receiving disability, but I will be applying for that as well as other financial aid. We have a long road ahead of us, and I don't know how long all of this is going to take.
If you can help, please do so. If you can't, I understand, but please share. Thank you so much.
My friends also asked me to get cash app: $itsmamabearb if anyone would like to donate there. Update: So far, I have received $350 on Cash App in donations. Thank you all who donated!
All donations will be used to pay bills such as water, gas, electric, house note, buy groceries, and arrange transportation while I apply for these programs. Hopefully, the waiting period for approval will not be too long.
