Disabled Vet's Cat Needs Critical Surgery
Donation protected

We took our cat to the vet after noticing she had blood in her urine. The diagnosis we got was that she had bladder stones and needs surgery to remove them. We have applied to several foundations and are waiting to hear back from them, but I don't know how long she can wait for surgery. Bladder stones can cause a urinary blockage, and this can result in death. We have experienced pet loss because of old age and untreatable illness, but this is a fixable illness and it would be an absolutely devastating loss. My mother is a disabled veteran living on a fixed income, and I am her full-time caregiver. We are currently waiting to be seen by the VA to increase the payments we receive. But at the current moment, we simply do not have the funds for this surgery. The majority of the funds will be going to her surgery. The rest, $400, will be going towards her aftercare checkup, medication, and prescription food for the next several months while we wait on the VA. Please give as much as you can spare, and if you cannot donate, please share.
