Disaster Relief for Goldens in Need

Rescue efforts are underway in Turkey after the most powerful earthquake to hit the region in almost a century killed thousands of people, left thousands more injured and flattened countless buildings and homes. So many people and animals are dead, injured and still

trapped. The magnitude of this disaster is beyond imagination. Governments around the world are pledging assistance, deploying search teams, medical personnel and equipment, and offering aid to families who have lost their homes and have no place to go in near-freezing temperatures.

Many of you have reached out to us asking if our rescue partners in Turkey and their dogs are okay. We are happy to say that they are indeed safe. However, they have told us that many shelters in the affected areas have been destroyed or badly damaged. Often dogs that reach us in the US have originally come from shelters in outlying areas. Our rescue partners are doing what they can to help the dogs in the hard-hit area. And we want to help them with this GoFundMe. The money raised will cover the travel expenses to help move our Goldens more quickly to help make room for those displaced. Also, funds raised by this GoFundMe will be sent to our rescue partners and used to provide food, shelter and medical aid to homeless animals affected by the quake. This is a call to action!
