Disco Dating Learning disabilities & mental health

Hi my name is Lauren and I am a support worker at Choice Support Nottingham, I am fundraising to create an event for people with learning disabilities and mental health to find love and meaningful connections across Nottingham.

We had a trial event September 2023 that was a huge success and with the help of online advertising we had a great turn out from other care providers and a mixture of ages.

It was lovely to see the connections people had made on the night and receiving updates from support workers of individuals that had gone on dates thanks to our event.

Unfortunately we do not have the funds to maintain a consistent event, all donations will go towards two events which the people attending will pay a small entry fee that will in time allow us to maintain a regular, inclusive, safe event for vulnerable adults.
