NO ONE wants to share this news, especially during the holidays! This December, our fun-loving, giving, optimistic, Disney dress-making Erin was diagnosed with Stage 3B Triple-Negative Breast Cancer.

Believe me, we are all in disbelief together. The outpouring of supportive messages is humbling; the first thing people have asked is, "How can we help?" This is why I started a GoFundMe.

Due to the triple-negative breast cancer's aggressiveness, stage and severity, we dropped everything and moved to Houston. Disney Dress Warrior Breast Cancer Be Gone GoFundMe will supplement all costs associated with treating Erin to the best available care over the next year.

These include medical visits, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, biopsies of masses and lymph nodes, CTs, MRIs, labs, multiple surgeries for chemotherapy port installation, bi-lateral mastectomy or lumpectomy, lodging, airfare, loss of income due to reduced time at work and more.

All resources will be used for the following:

Housing - Rental close to MDAnderson - $2000/month.

Airfare - Twelve Round Trip flights - $6000.

MDAnderson Bills to date - December 2nd-21st, $85,247.

Treatment: Six months of chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusions.

Every week:

Chemotherapy - Paclitaxel (Taxol - 12 doses)

Anti-Nausea - Fosaprepitant (Emend - 24 doses)

Every three weeks:

Immunotherapy- Pembrolizumab (Keytruda - 8 doses)

Each dose of KEYTRUDA given every 3 weeks is $34,039.75.

Chemotherapy - Carboplatin (4 doses)

Steroid - Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate (24 doses)

Chemotherapy - Doxorubicin + Cyclophosphamide (4 doses)

While we are thankful for the swift medical care, the mental, physical, and financial toll it has taken on us is immense. We are blessed and grateful for the generous outpouring of love and desire to help us fight this BEAST!

I will take unpaid leave to care for my DISNEY DRESS WARRIOR while she is BATTLING CANCER!

I pride myself on being financially sound and saved for a rainy day. I had no idea this large of a storm was going to blow into our lives. We will attempt to keep our heads above water through credit lines, savings, and a second on the house. Even with that, they won't cover all the costs not covered by insurance and associated with our FIGHT.
